* This era of Butlin's was dropped in 1999 when Butlins became Butlin's Family Entertainment Resorts.
* In the year 1990/1991, Butlin's was reduced to the size of five camps.
* All the hotels was remained open hosting the name Butlins Holiday Hotels.

* The simulator ride shown here was a classic ride that many customer enjoyed. Today, I have only see this in Skegness Butlins (as of 02/2020)

* Today, Wonderwest World (AYR) and Starcoast World (Pwllheli) remain under the great name of Haven. They are still in the same parent company as Butlin's.

* Many people had started their career at Butlins, with some even working along side Sir Billy Butlin.
* Today, this continues has stars and groups come to Butlin's, such as the WWE.

* The supermarkets have small history in Butlins. During the Holiday Worlds, it was known as Spar. It was later on in this era that we see the name Everydays. The supermarket was then rename back to Spar further along until it's current name "The Supermarket".
* The Plaza building is no longer in Butlins.
* The chalets shown here was new builds to the Butlin's name.
* The dining rooms have had major changes, with premium options and around the resort available.
* I love the design that has "Salad" on it, fantastic!

* One of the biggest changes made at the end of 1998 was the rooms and chalets. Seeing a large investment to what we see today.
* Note the Full and half board option. Full is no longer an option in Butlins.

* Based in Bognor Regis, it was the smallest camp of all five at this stage of Butlins.
* It's one of the three resorts that remain open (as of 2020).
* In this year, Bognor Butlins did not have any hotels on the site.

* The swimming pool shown here is no longer open in Butlins however, interestingly, it remains in place, closed for over twenty years. There is rumours of it being used for a reason however, none of these are confirmed.
* Barnums was an adults only club and has seen a lot of famous people.

* The eldest of all the Butlins is this gem, Funcoast World based in Skegness.
* To walk the ground of Skegness was a special moment for me as this is where the main man, Sir Billy Butlin, had once walked seeing a vision. It's hard to tell you in words of the feeling.
* Very important resort for the Butlin's name and still continues to this very date (as of 2020)

* Not many were aware that at this stage, Butlin's was in fact missing two hotels. They were the ones in Skegness and AYR.
* The hotels were seen to be different to the camps and was shown as an alternative for breaks.
* All hotels were sold at the end of 1998 when the current owner at the time, Rank, was changing and investing a great deal of money into Butlins.

* It was closed as a Butlins at the end of 1998. Updated information shows that the former hotel is now flats.
