The main funfair at the front, showing you former rides. The building you see here is the former Regency building with the Crazy Horse Saloon still on the ground floor and Sunsplash in the rear. As of 2023, this building has been demolished to make way for the Playxperience due to open in 2024. In the early days of Butlins Minehead, you will be standing in the front lake.

Showing Bar Russo before it was given a paint job, the former entrance to Butlins Minehead and the funfair. Going back to the early years of Butlin's, the top-hand corner will be showing the Prince building, which had the Pig and Whistle and Prince Ballroom, then developed into Centre Stage and Reds. The top left will show a large lake until it was converted into a funfair you see. The bottom left hand side would have been the Windsor building.

Who and What is Butlin's Memorabilia Website

Mark Banks is the individual responsible for the creation and ownership of this website, which displays his collection of Butlin's memorabilia. It was created in my spare time after work as a hobby and has since grown into a site that gives others a chance to smile. It is important to note that this website is not associated with Butlin's and is not an official archive of the company. Furthermore, it includes stories, with the consent of the individuals involved, that recount memorable moments at Butlin's from both customers and former staff members. This website pays homage to the esteemed company and its founder, Sir William Butlin. Additionally, it provides information on the history of Butlin's, based on personal research.
