Boothby Graffoe had come a Butlin's Redcoat at the age of 18. The research shows that he was a Redcoat in the South coast, I can only think that would be Bognor Regis. Boothby has continued his career with stand up comedy, radio, television and music. More can be found by clicking the button below.

Cliff Richard was not a Redcoat, however, did make a successful career. Joining Butlins, Cliff Richard would be with his group, called the Drifters. Ian H Watkins
Mr Watkins had started a Bluecoat in the former Butlins camp in Barry Island, known as Majestic Holiday camp. Mr Watkins and then moved to Minehead, where he became a Butlin's Redcoat. Jackie Clancy
Working as Redcoat in 1951 at Butlin's Filey. Jackie made a successful career in Melbourne on the radio. Further information can be found by clicking on the button below on the website friend site
Jimmy Cricket

Johnny Ball

Mr Mulhern always makes me smile as he was one of the Redcoats that helped me smile when I went to Butlin's Somerwest World in Minehead. His ways of entertaining was always at the highest levels as he made a successful television career, which continues today. Stephan also continues to help create memories in Butlins today.
