Butlin's Friends and Billys companies

Butlin's was the holiday camp that set the standard as it gained popularity. However, not all guests found the sites to be their preferred type of enjoyment, as some desired a quieter environment. To bridge this gap, Sir Billy Butlin opened his Freshfield camps, providing his customers with an additional option. As a skilled businessman, he also maintained a close relationship with Sir Fred Pontin and the Warners.
